What is the price of an Oasis?

The base price of a float tank is $8250 USD and includes the pump and filtration system, a PVC liner, underwater speakers, grab bars and an installation manual with operation and care guide. Full email and phone support is included as well. The commercial upgrade includes a UV light for added sanitation. Other items for sale include a hydrometer, digital heater control…

Do you offer financing, leasing or rentals?

We do no currently offer any of those payment options.

Are there any taxes or other fees?

Sales tax only applies to residents of California.

The price of the tank does not include salt or shipping.

No other fees apply.

What does it cost to ship an Oasis?

This depends on where you live. The cost of transporting an Oasis tank is typically between $900 and $1500 per tank in the continental United States. Canadian rates are at the higher end of this range, and you must also pay for a customs broker (this costs about several hundred dollars). The buyer arranges shipping but we will dutifully assist you in this process. For sales outside the US and Canada, please contact us directly.

Do you offer any discounts if I buy more than one tank?

The Oasis float tank is one of the most economical sensory deprivation tanks on the market. Because we keep our base price low, we’re not able to offer discounts for multiple orders.

How long does it take to receive the tank?

Production times vary depending on our schedule. It can take anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks to produce a tank depending on how many orders we have in the queue. The average length of time is 4 to 6 weeks, and during slower parts of the year we build a tank in less than a month.

What do I need to know about the Epsom salts?

You’ll need them to float and they’re great for your skin and health. 🙂 In order to fill a float tank, 850 pounds of Epsom salt must be mixed in with 150 gallons of water. At commercial float centers, the salt solution is changed once or twice a year. The cost of salt averages between 40 and 60 cents a pound depending on the quality and from where you purchase it. We can assist you in acquiring salt from a distributor.

Can you install the tank for me?

Oasis tanks are designed to be installed by the buyer, and the tank comes with a thorough installation manual. We do not offer professional installation but we will he happy to assist you or a contractor in the set up over phone and email. If you’re not technically inclined, we suggest hiring a handyman, ideally someone familiar with pools or hot tubs.

There’s currently no certification specific to the floatation industry, but you will need to have the tank set up approved by the building department and quite possibly the local health department. Please give us a call for advice on that process.

Do you ever sell used float tanks?

We don’t carry used tanks but if you do come across one for sale, please contact us and we may be able to give you information about the history of that particular tank. The Float Source brokers used tank sales, and you may wish to inquire with them if any Oasis tanks are currently available.

It depends on the strength of the floor and building. An oasis tank weighs over 2200 pounds when filled with water and salt, so you’ll need a strong floor to support the load. We highly recommend that you hire a structural engineer to inspect the site before installing an Oasis tank on an above ground floor. Please contact us for more information.

How long do the tanks last?

The fiberglass body of a float tank is highly durable and will last for many years. Decades even. Over time certain parts will need to be refurbished or replaced. Except for a few custom fittings, most of the parts, such as the pumps and UV device, are sourced from the pool and spa industry and can be replaced down the road once they wear out.
